Frequent Asked Questions
Q: How can I speak at a IBG conference?
A: In order to be considered for a speaking role, please send your detailed biography, company profile and other relevant information such as past events you have spoken at (if any) and topics of expertise to Karen You. Please clearly indicate in your message which IBG event is of interest. Once your materials are received, our production team will review your information and determine if there is a suitable slot on the event of your choice.
Q: Do I have to pay a fee to be a Speaker at IBG conferences?
A: Normally speakers do not pay a fee to speak or to attend other sessions of the conference at which they are speaking. All confirmed speakers of a conference are entitled to attend all sessions at that conference on a complimentary basis. Confirmed speakers are also entitled to invite up to 2 guests/clients of an appropriate level to attend the conference on a complimentary basis.
Q: What is the profile of conference attendees?
A: Depending on the event, primary participants range from between 80-150 chief executives, presidents, CIOs, CFOs, other senior management etc. Our conferences are exclusively for C-level executives and thought-leaders who are carefully selected to maximize the exchange of ideas on issues and challenges that currently face businesses.
Q: Do I have to register as a Participant if I am a confirmed Speaker at a conference?
A: No. All confirmed speakers are automatically registered as participants for the entire conference at which they are speaking. On the day of the conference, the speaker only needs to submit their business card at the IBG registration desk to pick up their name badge for accessing to the conference.
Q: When is the deadline for Speaker proposals?
A: We do not have strict deadlines for speaker proposals, but accept these on an ongoing basis. A speaker proposal should consist of the proposed individual's detailed biography, company profile and other relevant information such as past speaking roles (if any) and topics of expertise.
